McAlister's Deli at 101 Frey Lane, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

When ordering, the staff was very helpful and graciously answered all the questions we had. The menu is a little extensive and was a little hard to see past the hanging lights so it was slightly difficult to choose on our own. The restaurant was fairly clean and nice looking. However, we did want to sit in a booth but were unable to because all the empty ones still needed to be wiped down.

They had a wide variety of sandwiches and sides. I ordered the southwest chicken sandwich with mac n cheese. The sandwich was great (a little messy) but the mac n cheese was just okay and the serving was a little small. They also had several options for flavored teas but I didn't get a chance to try them this trip. Definitely something to try in the future.

The staff came around to clear plates and check to make sure everything tasted good. Again, they were very helpful and friendly.

I will definitely be going back to this McAlister's and look forward to eating here again!
